Dr. Andrey Danilov works as a Senior Research Fellow at Chalmers University of Technology, Microtechnology and Nanoscience – MC2, Quantum Device Physics Laboratory http://www.chalmers.se/en/departments/mc2/laboratories/QDPL/Pages/default.aspx.
Dr. Danilov has a doctoral degree in experimental mesoscopic physics from Chalmers University of Technology (2002). Before joining the QDP group at Chalmers as a senior research fellow, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Nanoscience Center at University of Copenhagen (2004-2005) http://nano.ku.dk/english. Dr. Danilov has authored or co-authored over 40 articles, which have received more than 900 citations.
Dr. Danilov has participated in several international projects: ESPRIT FP4 project NANOWIRES, IST FP5 project NANOMOL, IST FP6 project CANEL, FP6 CRAFT project MONARCH, IST FP7 Project SINGLE, and IST FP7 Project ELFOS. Research areas include mesoscopic and low dimensional systems, Coulomb blockade and single electron devices, molecular electronics and single molecule junctions, molecular spintronics.
