Benjamin Alexander Weise
Doctoral employee at Institut für Textiltechnik, RWTH Aachen University
Mr. Benjamin Weise, born 1990 in Munich/Germany, is a PhD student researching in the topic of nano-modification of polymeric fibres with graphene. His research focus is located on the development of fibre-based supercapacitors in the melt-spinning process. Mr. Weise studied physics at RWTH Aachen from 2007 to 2013 with focus on experimental solid-state physics and earned his M.Sc degree with a thesis about the study of the influence of graphene multilayers on melt-spun polypropylene fibres. Since November 2013, he is a scientific employee at Institut fuer Textiltechnik (ITA) of RWTH Aachen University and the deputy head of the nano-modified polymeric fibres research group.
